Is Lisa Rinna really trying to steal Erika Girardi's spotlight by bringing up her own Chicago performance on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Viewers assumed the actress was trying to bond with the new Broadway star. But could there have been ulterior motive, as Garcelle Beauvais suggested?
Lisa Rinna may have been best known for her role as Billie Reed on NBC’s Day’s of Our Lives, for which she received national recognition, and Melrose Place before starring on the Real Housewives franchise. The mother of two is no stranger to drama, and even thrives in it. While the other women continuously argue, Rinna enjoys watching from the sidelines until she finds the right moment to interject. This season has been a bit different for the reality star, as she has become more vocal and a bit tougher with her words.
During the all-new August 19 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Garcelle Beauvais made an awkward point during the Buca di Beppo feast for Teddi Mellencamp's baby shower. She put Lisa on the spot by saying she believed her friend was trying to steal the spotlight from Erika Jayne’s achievement of starring as Roxie Hart in Chicago. Bravo viewers were taken aback with Garcelle’s assessment and truly believed that Lisa had been nothing but supportive to Erika. The Instagram bikini dancer has always shown nothing but positive vibes and excitement for her friend. Check out Lisa's tweet below that congratulates Erika on her performance:
Lisa has pointed out that she played the same role of Roxie Hart once or twice, but many feel it was just a gentle reminder that she did something great, too. Erika has never seemed bothered by the conversation, so why was Garcelle? Many Bravo fans believe that there is trouble brewing between the two, even though the housewives hugged it out before the dinner was over.
Recently Garcelle has been in the hot seat for insinuating that Lisa’s daughter, Amelia, became anorexic because of Lisa's dancing posts in a bikini on social media. Even though Lisa feels no shame in her hustle, Garcelle felt the mother of two was acting inappropriately, especially since she has two daughters. Garcelle told cameras she loved that her friend was a free spirit, but that dancing half-naked would not be an option for her, especially if she had a daughter with body issues. As of today, the two women are on the outs, with no signs of making up in sight.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesday at 9 pm ET on Bravo.
