It’s beginning to look like a season of controversies for 90 Day Fiancé, first with the Amira Lollysa deportation drama, and now with Stephanie Davison’s shocking claims. The Michigan-based star entered the spotlight due to her romance with Ryan Carr on season eight of the reality show. But as the story progressed, Stephanie garnered more interest from fans due to her cheating with Harris and her weight loss injections. But in a chilling revelation, Stephanie claims she was “manipulated” and “raped” during filming for the show.
In an instance of overnight fame, Grand Rapids, MA resident Stephanie, 52, became the talk of the 90 Day Fiancé town, despite being the last to be introduced on season eight. As TLC fans saw her hula hooping, and setting her circadian rhythm right, Stephanie's debatable age gap with Ryan, 27, also sparked fans' interest. The latest episode, however, showed Stephanie all set to go to Belize to confront Ryan, which 90 Day Fiancé fans predicted would result in a breakup. However, certain accusations by Stephanie speak of a darker incident that may have happened in the Caribbean country.
Stephanie spoke up about her alleged claims against the network when a meme about her and Ryan posted was a 90 Day Fiancé fan page. The Instagram post by @mommy_says_bad_words joked about how Stephanie should have read a book titled Never Get Ghosted Again before meeting Ryan. But Stephanie instead wrote in the comments, “My new motto after this reality tv stuff.....ONLY believe half of what you see and hear!!” followed by the hashtags, “#theycangof*ckthemselves #paymewhatyouoweme #careaboutyourcast #manipulatedbeyondbelief#seeyouincourt.” The 90 Day Fiancé fan page admin, who perhaps thought Stephanie was joking, replied with, “the hashtags” and laughing emojis. But soon, Stephanie wrote about her chilling allegations against the “company.”
“That's right girl!! I love the hashtags!!!! These clusterf*cks that work for this company are going to wish they never deceived me,” wrote the 90 Day Fiancé’s season eight star. She continued, “I not only was raped while filming, but manipulated to keep filming after I begged to get off set after being bitten hundreds of times by sandflies.” The sermorelin advocate Stephanie added, “But no, they just needed a romantic dinner filmed with Ryan. I spend have [sic] my time in a hospital now hooked to IV's for the inflammation from the allergic reactions I had.” At the end of her comment, Stephanie spoke about how they are “unwilling to pay” all the medical expenses and that her “attorney started legal action today,” while asking the fan to “stay tuned.”
The comments on a repost of Stephanie’s comments by the source have incited shocked reactions from 90 Day Fiancé viewers. One wrote, “I am in shock. I have no words." Another posted a message of support for Stephanie, saying, “Oh my God!! I'm so sorry Stephanie!! You fight girl!! You will be in my prayers.”
This is not the first time cast members have accused 90 Day Fiancé of wrongly editing their storylines or showing scripted plots. A few months ago, Deavan Clegg alleged that the editing was putting her “family in danger,” while Larissa Lima has publicly shamed TLC for profiting off her surgery, and revealed that Eric Nichols paying for her breast implants was fake. However, the allegations Stephanie made are the most chilling to date. With serious allegations like these, fans can only hope Stephanie finds answers in court.
TLC did not immediately respond to the request for comment, but this story will be updated if Screen Rant gets a response from the TV network.
None of the allegations from Stephanie or others have been proven in a court of law.
90 Day Fiancé airs Sundays at 8 pm ET on TLC
