WandaVision could be hinting at the future arrival of Viv and Vin from the Marvel comics. Only three episodes in, WandaVision is already a hell of a trip. Set within the sickly-sweet suburbia of Westview, Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany's Vision flick through the decades, experiencing the idyllic life of a sitcom couple complete with live studio audience, cheesy intro theme, and hi-jinks galore. But bubbling beneath the surface are clues that Westview is a construction of Wanda's own making, and it appears that Nick Fury's SWORD are trying to save Scarlet Witch from whatever mystical reality she's currently occupying.
WandaVision episode 3 ramps up the tension, with Geraldine revealed as a possible intruder from the outside, and the other neighbors acting more erratically than ever. Most of the episode, however, concerns Wanda's miraculously quick pregnancy. Condensing three trimesters into a matter of hours, Wanda gives birth to twin boys, Billy and Tommy. This storyline is heavily inspired by Scarlet Witch's comic story, in which Billy and Tommy Maximoff are introduced as the children of Wanda and Vision, but ultimately revealed as magical creations infused with souls via the power of Mephisto. While the involvement of Mephisto remains unconfirmed, it's safe to say that the twin WandaVision babies are about as real as their comic counterparts.
But a conversation between Wanda and Vision hints at the arrival of more children who are real very indeed. In the brief few minutes before Wanda pops, she and Vision discuss what, exactly, their children will be. After all, they're the neighborhood's most unusual couple *wink to camera*. Wanda asks her android lover "will the baby be human, or synthezoid... a bit of both?" This line is a clear reference to Viv and Vin - two synthezoid children created by Vision as part of his ongoing quest for humanity Vision used Wanda's brainwaves to create a synthetic wife called Virginia, followed by their twin synthezoid offspring, Vivian and Vin. Although not strictly the biological children of Scarlet Witch and Vision, the pair are real, tangible creations - unlike Wanda's little Scarlet Wizards in-training, Tommy and Billy.
WandaVision's mention of synthezoids might potentially hint towards a later appearance for Viv and Vin. This could come as part of Wanda's happy, smiling sitcom world, with her and Vision conceiving another set of twins once the 1990s hit. Alternatively, Vivian and Vin could come to life in the real world, with Wanda and Vision's roles reversed from the comics. Because Vision is still dead (we assume), Wanda may create two snythezoids that combine her human DNA with Vision's programming and brainwaves. Perhaps she already attempted this and failed, leading to her creation of Westview as a last resort to start a family. If this were the case, the awakening of Viv and Vin in the real world might be strong enough to pull Wanda from her inner television marathon.
The arrival of Viv and Vin could even provide the basis for WandaVision season 2. After the synthezoid twins are created in the Marvel comics, the Vision family try and settle into regular life, with Vision going to work, Virginia keeping the home, and the kids going to high school. Inevitably, not everything goes to plan. Since WandaVision season 1 is a family sitcom set within a false reality, season 2 could bring the same family format into the real MCU, with Wanda, Vivian, Vin, and maybe even a reborn Vision, attempting to carve out a regular life similar to the one Wanda is currently trapped within - but without the laugh track.
