Teresa Giudice's ex-husband, Joe Giudice, still has unresolved issues with his former in-laws. Despite divorcing The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, he still is feuding with Joe and Melissa Gorga.
In December 2019, Teresa and Joe decided to call it quits after more than 20 years of marriage and four children together. Fans watched the legal issues and jail sentences that caused tension between the couple. But after completing 11 months in prison and coming home to a completely different life and mindset, Teresa knew her days with Joe were over. It was during her trip to visit him in Italy after he was deported following his prison stint that the Fabulicious author made the decision to part ways with her husband and lifelong friend. Viewers have watched the nasty arguments that sometimes turned physical between the Giudices and Gorgas. Now, with Joe Giudice out of the picture, Teresa is trying to mend the broken fences with her brother's family.
But Joe Giudice still has a mouth and opinion of his own and can voice it however he pleases. Over the Valentine's Day weekend, Joe took to Instagram to tell his former sister-in-law to keep his name out of her mouth. "Melissa Gorga needs to shut up,” he captioned a throwback reunion show photo with a link to his latest interview. In the image, Joe is seen giving Melissa a look of disdain while she stares off into the distance, with siblings Joe Gorga and Teresa Giudice looking away as well. The move seemingly came after Melissa's recent interview where she said she was done defending Teresa if her sister-in-law was going to continue defending her ex-husband's slander against the Gorgas. “Melissa needs to defend herself from her fake storylines and pretending to have problems with her husband,” Joe told Celebuzz in the interview link he shared on Instagram. “The only problem they have is they destroy other people’s families!”
The former Bravo star went on to accuse his former in-laws of being known to "make up storylines." He continued his rant. "They destroyed our relationship. They should be happy for their sister instead of trying to destroy her. It’s a shame as Teresa is a single mom,” he explained. “Shame on them. Now that I’m not there, she’s going after [another] to stay relevant.” One day after sharing the interview, the father of four took to Instagram to send a special shout-out to his new girlfriend on Valentine's Day. "My life is so much better because you are here with me," Joe shared in the lengthy caption dedicated to his Italian lawyer girlfriend Daniella. Teresa left two heart emojis in the comments section showing her support for her ex-husband's newfound love.
However, one fan asked Joe about the recent "attack" against Melissa, which he denied. "Riddle this I didn’t attack. I defend my family," Joe replied. The move signaled the continuance of his family feud against the Gorgas, something longtime show fans are well aware of. Viewers are hopeful for Joe to make a return to the show, despite his current residency overseas.
