American Idol Season 19: Full List Of The Top 24 Singers

ABC's American Idol season 19 is now well underway, and judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan have narrowed down the season's lineup of contestants to the Top 24 singers. Over the years, American Idol was a hit reality competition on Fox throughout 15 seasons. The series served as a launchpad for global superstars like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, Fantasia, Chris Daughtry, and Jordin Sparks, to name a few. However, the show's last few years on Fox struggled to meet the viewers' traditionally high expectations.

Even as a series like NBC's The Voice kept rising, there were apparently not enough reasons for Fox to keep its American Idol series afloat, only for ABC to then revive the show a few years later. At this point, the American Idol reboot is going on its fourth season over at ABC with the same judges: Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. Now, these judges have assembled a talented group of Top 24 contestants for the current American Idol season 19, and the fans can't wait to see what the season has in store for these singers.

Together, the American Idol judges have chosen two dozen contestants to move forward onto the Top 24 of season 19. Various singers performed in the Showstopper Round, but only 24 of them were able to stay in the competition. The official Top 24 contestants of season 19 are Alana, Alanis Sophia, Alyssa Wray, Andrea Valles, Anilee List, Ava August, Beane, Caleb Kennedy, Casey Bishop, Cassandra Coleman, Cecil Ray, Chayce Beckham, Colin Jamieson, Deshawn Goncalves, Grace Kinstler, Graham DeFranco, Hannah Everhart, Hunter Metts, Jason Warrior, Liahona, Madison Watkins, Mary Jo Young, Willie Spence, and Wyatt Pike.

There are still quite a few steps in the competition before the public can choose a new American Idol winner. Up next, the Top 24 contestants will be performing in the All-Star Duets and Solos phase, which ABC will air as two separate episodes on Sunday, April 4 and on Monday, April 5. The season will then be narrowed down to its Top 16, which will then be narrowed down yet again to a Top 12. All things considered, the fans can't wait for the live shows to begin.

It is still too early for the viewers to forecast which contestant can win American Idol this year. There are obviously a few fan-favorites already, but anything can happen as the competition on season 19 moves along.
