Ever since its debut, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has come to encapsulate what fans find so fascinating about any Real Housewives franchise: unimaginably lavish lifestyles, explosive secrets, and, of course, abundant conflicts ranging from petty squabbles to all-out brawls. Although many Beverly Hills housewives have graced fans' screens over the years, the show's early seasons and the OG housewives that populate them make for some of reality TV's best and most nostalgic viewing.
While some of RHOBH's original castmembers have enjoyed long stretches on the show either as main cast members or as "Friends of the Housewives" and enjoy massive social media followings, others have faded from the memories of many fans. But no matter their stature on Instagram, they all deserve their status as TV icons.
6 Taylor Armstrong: 103K
Taylor Armstrong's arc in RHOBH was relatively brief - lasting only three seasons - but her impact on the show's legacy is outsized. Fans were introduced to a seemingly happy mother to a young daughter and wife to a guarded businessman working in venture capital, but over the next two seasons, it became clear to viewers and to her fellow housewives that Taylor was a victim of domestic violence from her husband Russell.
After his death, which occurred just before Season 2 began airing, Season 3 saw Taylor processing her traumatic experiences as well as settling a lawsuit against her due to her late husband's business dealings. Now in a loving marriage to attorney John Bluher and spreading awareness about domestic violence, Armstrong shares her life with a modest Instagram following.
5 Adrienne Maloof: 479K
A member of the fabled Maloof dynasty, Adrienne is remembered by RHOBH fans for her huge mansion, her frequent business trips to Vegas, and her bickering banter with her then-husband Paul Nassif of Botched. That's not to mention her Lisa Vanderpump-hating private chef, Bernie.
In her final season on the show, this OG clashed with Brandi Glanville over the latter's allegations that Adrienne had used a pregnancy surrogate. Although she and Paul have since separated, as of RHOBH Season 10 the co-parents seem to be getting along and even attended a party at Kyle's house with their significant others. At the same gathering, Adrienne even managed to mend fences with her former nemesis Brandi. She's not one of the franchise's most popular housewives as far as social media following, but still a legendary part of the show.
4 Kim Richards: 568K
Kim Richards was introduced to fans in Season 1 as a loving single mother with a somewhat contested relationship with her sister Kyle. Her first season on the show went off without a hitch until the finale when an explosive fight took place between her and Kyle in a limo. The following seasons chronicled Kim's journey towards a sober life and her animosity and then friendship with fellow housewife Brandi Glanville. In the show's fifth season, which would be her last as a housewife, Kim memorably fought with newcomer Lisa Rinna over the latter's prying into her life.
Although she only occasionally appears on the show these days, Kim's candor and vulnerability had a huge part in shaping RHOBH's success. The actor, grandmother, and dog-lover shares her triumphs to a sizeable audience of 568,000 followers.
3 Camille Meyer: 651K
When she was still known as Camille Grammer, Camille Meyer attracted tons of attention as one of the most hated Real Housewives of all time in RHOBH's first season. From a legendary fight in which she was accused of being a liar to the even more tense "Dinner Party From Hell," Season 1 Camille gained a reputation for being a wolf in sheep's clothing. But she transformed into a fan-favorite in the second season, her final outing as a main cast member.
Camille would appear in many later seasons of RHOBH as a "Friend of the Housewives," most notably in Season 9 when she clashed with Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and attracted the ire of all her co-stars during the dramatic reunion, and tragically lost her home in a fire. Her loyal Instagram followers are treated to an alluring combination of Housewives memories and gorgeous beach photos.
2 Lisa Vanderpump: 2.7M
Beverly Hills's queen of diamonds and rosé achieved huge popularity during her time on RHOBH and was going strong with the franchise until an unflattering plotline and a huge blowout with her co-stars led her to exit the show in 2019. She was definitely a series fan favorite, but clashed with Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards Umansky, and eventually her BFF Dorit Kemsley over the truth behind a scandal involving a rescue dog. Fellow housewives Camille Meyer and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, meanwhile, accused her of manipulating them to reveal scandalous information on-camera while keeping her own reputation clean.
Lisa shows off her mansion (aptly named Villa Rosa), her many dogs, and her successful podcast All Things Vanderpump to an impressive 2.7 million followers.
1 Kyle Richards Umansky: 3.1M
Kyle is considered by many fans (as well as her fellow housewives) to occupy a "main character" role on RHOBH, and so it's no surprise that the upbeat and sometimes neurotic socialite would enjoy the largest following of any Beverly Hills housewife. After all, she's the only OG still with the franchise as it prepares to air its 11th season, with her former friend Lisa Vanderpump having departed the show after Season 9.
Kyle's feed offers a tantalizing glimpse into her glamorous life as the wife of a skyrocketing real estate agent, with some tender throwbacks and hilarious TikToks to balance things out. It's no wonder the longtime housewife and boutique owner has amassed a whopping 3.1 million Instagram devotees.
