Sewaddle is one of the Grass-type Pokemon available in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how they can find and capture this Pokemon. Recently, Pokemon Go hosted its Friendship Day event. For just 1 day, players were able to complete a collection challenge based around Grass-type Pokemon. Upon completing this challenge, players were rewarded with tons of XP. A big reason why players were interested in this event was the x3 Catch bonus that came along with it. For 3-hour, players could use a Lucky Egg to bring that bonus up to x6. This was a huge event for higher-level players who have been struggling to level up. One of the Pokemon that were required for the collection challenge was Sewaddle. This guide will show players how they can find and capture this Pokemon.
Sewaddle was one of the Pokemon that was a bit more difficult to encounter during Friendship Day. While Grass-type Pokemon was spawning all over the map, Sewaddle had a much lower spawn rate when compared to the rest. Although, this was a great way to obtain one for the very first time. Now that the event is over, Sewaddle is back to being a normal spawn. This makes it even harder to encounter it since there is no event centered around this Pokemon. While it is difficult, it isn't impossible. Here are some ways players can increase the chances of encounter a Sewaddle after the Friendship Day event.
Currently, the best way to obtain a Sewaddle after the Friendship Day event is to use a Mossy Lure Module. This item can be purchased from the in-game shop for 200 PokeCoins and increases the spawn rate of Grass, Bug, and Poison-type Pokemon. Since Sewaddle is a Bug/Grass-type Pokemon, it will make it even easier for it to appear.
From experience, the best thing to do would be to split the responsibility with another player. Hang out around a specific PokeStop with the Mossy Lure activated and take turns placing one done when the first one is over. There is no guarantee since Sewaddle is an incredibly rare spawn but it's always worth a try. Alternatively, players can trade with a player who was able to get one during Friendship Day. Pokemon Go is all about community so this is a great way to make new friends capture them all.
Pokemon Go is available now on iOS and Android.
