Minecraft's Destructive TNT Turned Into Automatic Art-Making Machine

A talented Minecraft modder has turned an ordinary TNT block into an art-making machine, capable of drawing pictures with randomized explosions. Since TNT is a deeply versatile block, it is often utilized by players to create amazing mods with impressive functionality.

One inventive player decided to make the life of a regular miner in Minecraft a simple one by offering an automated solution to making shafts and tunnels. The result of this temptation was an incredible mod, which introduced a special TNT block, possessing the power to mine automatically in any direction. After following a few simple steps, any player with the mod on their PC will be able to fine-tune the tunnel digging machine so that it can drill through the ground with thrilling efficiency.

A Minecraft modder named KevinJNguy01 on Reddit put a lot of effort into turning a regular TNT block into an automatic art-making machine, which draws pictures with holes left after explosions. As weird as it sounds, the invention does exactly that. Once triggered, the block starts shooting TNTs all around the place in what appears to be a chaotic sequence. In reality, though, it is all meticulously programmed by the author to eventually turn a flat Minecraft world into a huge piece of art, which can be enjoyed from above. According to the player, a specially written Python script was used to scan the initial image to determine where the TNT blocks need to land for a picture to appear on the ground. After that, the modder randomized the order of exploding cubes to preserve suspense while the machine works on its art.

Another Minecraft player used a combination of already existing mods to create a non-Euclidean build in the game. The result was a simple-looking cabin with a very special secret inside. Basically, the house contained itself infinitely, as there was always a smaller replica inside of it. Thanks to the ability to shrink the character’s model, the player was able to travel across endless copies of the structure. Obviously, it would’ve required infinite computing power. The trick was to build a single house and its smaller projection while teleporting the player back and forth between the two instances.

Judging by the outstanding functionality of the featured mod, it’s a fair assumption that Minecraft players’ imagination will never hit a limit. Every day, a spectacular creation appears, only to be overshadowed by another ingenious project the next day. The reason for this is probably that the game itself contains endless opportunities to fulfill a creative mind’s potential. It’s the unprecedented freedom of Minecraft that makes it such a special treat for the fans.
