A reliable Call of Duty: Warzone leaker has revealed that the anticipated Sykov Pistol sidearm will be coming to the game within the Sparks Operator Bundle. The latest report continues the flow of rumors suggesting possible new content for the game, including the 1980s makeover for the Verdansk map.
Roughly a week ago, footage of Verdansk’s new 1980s look leaked online showcasing an atmospheric makeover in the style of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The transition to an upgraded visual style is expected to happen closer to the current season’s end, which is rumored to take place later this month. The makeover will reportedly introduce new areas, environments, and other alterations of the familiar Verdansk’s look.
It appears that Call of Duty: Warzone will finally receive the previously leaked Sykov Pistol sidearm, the existence of which was discovered a couple of months ago. The latest report from TailsDoll553, a well-known insider and leaker, suggests that several new bundles containing in-game items and cosmetics are coming to the popular battle royale title. One specific package titled Sparks Operator Bundle will allegedly contain the aforementioned pistol, releasing on April 15th. It’s not a shocking revelation, though, as the Sykov Pistol was found in Warzone earlier this year. While at first, the sidearm was accidentally discovered during live gameplay, it was later proved that the pistol can be obtained thanks to a trick. Now, the anticipated new weapon is seemingly coming to Modern Warfare and Warzone as a properly unlockable handgun.
The unreleased Sykov Pistol was originally discovered by Warzone players in February, and back then, the sidearm had some crazy stats. As a fully automatic handgun, the new weapon had the ability to shred enemies in pieces in close-quarters combat. Although the early inclusion of the gun was not intended by developers, gamers managed to arrange a simple guide on how to unlock the sidearm. With additional attachments, Sykov turned into a beast, especially with an 80-round magazine and dual-wielding perk.
Although Call of Duty: Warzone is now tied to Black Ops Cold War content-wise, it’s nice to see that special bundles still introduce contemporary weapons from Modern Warfare. Despite the fact that the anticipated Sykov Pistol is yet to be officially confirmed, there’re little to no reasons not to believe the recent leak because the gun is already partially available in the game. The only uncertainty is when it will be added, but hopefully, the insider has guessed the release date right, and the bundle containing the sidearm will indeed drop next week.
