If there was one character from the MCU that fans would love to have on their side, it is Iron Man. Over the course of the eleven years, the tech billionaire has managed to defend the world successfully from any threats. He was even able to draw blood from the Mad Titan himself, which is a pretty incredible feat considering Thanos was armed with the Infinity Gauntlet at the time.
Although Iron Man is far from the strongest Avenger in the MCU, his Mach 50 suit has been seen to have some of the strongest abilities and powers. In fact, the suit contained so much power that fans were able to see it all exhibited in the Battle on Earth. However, if he went up against some of anime's mightiest heroes, would he be able to come out on top?
10 Could: Zoro
Zoro is the untitled Vice-Captain of the Straw Hat pirates from One Piece and his sword skills are no joke. Armed with both Armament Haki and Observation Haki, Zoro can cut just about anything with his sword while dodging attacks that he feels coming from miles away.
On top of this, Zoro's strength and agility are incredible and he can project his sword attacks great distances. Iron Man might have him beat in the speed department, but it barely matters when Zoro can easily avoid or cut down the majority of his attacks. Zoro takes this fight with ease.
9 Couldn't: Nami
Nami is the thief of the Straw Hat crew from One Piece. This character woman is tricky to say the least. She defeats her opponents with guile and surprise attacks. While Nami definitely isn't a pushover, her strongest attacks rely on the weather and she doesn't possess any sort of superhuman sort of abilities except for some pretty spectacular endurance, which all of the Straw Hats seem to possess.
While manipulating the weather is impressive, it's nothing Iron Man can't handle considering his weaker armor was able to take a lightning attack from the God of Thunder himself. Nami just doesn't have the destructive capabilities to harm Iron Man.
8 Could: Mikoto Misaka
Mikoto Misaka is the main protagonist from A Certain Scientific Railgun and the strength of her abilities are shocking considering they come from a middle school girl. Misaka is electrokinetic, whose power contains 2 billion volts! While Iron Man was able to take one of Thor's lightning bolts and keep fighting, it is doubtful that he could take the full force of Misaka's power considering an average lightning bolt tops out at about 300 million volts.
Yet, even if Iron Man is capable of this feat, Misaka has a large bag of tricks that make her Iron Man's natural enemy. She is capable of hacking computer systems in an instant with her powers, can greatly increase her speed by controlling her own body's electrical signals, and has a powerful technique called a railgun that projects any size of metal at high velocities. Misaka has every advantage in this fight.
7 Couldn't: Fumikage Tokoyami
Tokoyami is a hero in training from My Hero Academia's class 1A. His quirk allows him to summon a shadow monster called Dark Shadow to fight for him. Dark Shadow's strength heightens when he is in the dark, though Tokoyami has trouble controlling Dark Shadow in these situations.
Yet, even if Dark Shadow was at full power, he doesn't stand a chance against Iron Man's arsenal of weaponry. Iron Man's attack often involve missiles and beams which give off light. Just like Tokoyami was a bad match-up against Bokugo because of his weakness to light, he, too, is a bad match-up for Iron Man.
6 Could: Suzaku
Suzaku is one of the main characters from Code Geass. His strength, speed, reflexes, and martial prowess far surpass Tony's in human form and his mecha, Lancelot Albion Zero, has some great specs. This mecha is fully capable of matching Tony's suits in speed and agility, regardless of its size and comes equipped with a vibrating sword, an energy shield that takes missiles and energy blasts with ease, and a flight system that also shoots energy attacks.
Add all of this with Suzaku's skill as a pilot and a Geass command that pushes him past his limits and it's easy to see who the victor of this match is. The only advantage Iron Man has is his longer-lasting power source.
5 Couldn't: Asta
Asta is the main protagonist from Black Clover and his abilities come from a demon trapped in his grimoire. This demon grants Asta a demon form that greatly enhances his strength and speed.
Unfortunately for Asta, his fighting style is more for fighting mages rather than technologically advanced suits. While he could put up a good fight against Iron Man, it is unlikely that he could break through Tony's defenses without some help from his friends.
4 Could: Tornado
Tornado is a psychokinetic from One-Punch Man and is currently ranked as the second strongest hero in their world. This little ball of joy has some powerful psychic abilities; in season 1 of the anime, she easily stops hundreds of missiles raining down on the city and reverses their course to destroy the spaceship which was attacking them.
Yet, this feat is minuscule compared to some of her later feats in the manga. Iron Man has absolutely no defense against her overwhelming psychic abilities.
3 Couldn't: Leonardo
Leo is the main protagonist of Blood Blockade Battlefront and is armed with the All-Seeing Eyes of God. While this power sounds really cool, the stuff he can do with it is pretty limited and based around disorienating his enemies by projecting what he or others see into their vision. Leo is just a normal human otherwise, so while Leo could be annoying for Iron Man, he's really no threat.
2 Could: Maple
Maple is the main protagonist from Bofuri: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense. While she only has incredible power inside of the video game she plays with her friends, which makes this a little bit of an unfair match-up for Iron Man, the power she has in the video game is scary.
She has managed to gain an overpowered mecha, a demon form, a giant poison dragon skill, and much more through naive luck and creativity that most gamers would call game-breaking behavior. On top of this, she has maxed out her defense skill in such a way that only piercing attacks seem to have any real effect on her HP. Iron Man is completely outmatched in this fight.
1 Couldn't: King
King is a hero from One-Punch Man who is said to be the strongest man on Earth and is ranked 7th in the hero standings. Considering the amount of powerhouse characters in One-Punch Man, someone might assume King could give Iron Man a good fight.
Yet, King doesn't actually have any powers or special abilities, rather he just has bad luck. He seems to attract monsters left and right and then receives credit for their defeat after other heroes, primarily Saitama, has defeated the monsters. So, regardless of his reputation, he's just a normal human and thus is no match for Iron Man.
