90 Day Fiancé: Foody Call Cast Dragged for Sharing Too Much Information

The new 90 Day Fiancé spin-off 90 Day: Foody Call was something culinary enthusiasts from the fan community looked forward to until they found out how much TMI there was. The newest Discovery+ series on the block brought back several older couples, including Emily and Sasha Larina, Tania Maduro and Syngin Colchester, Paola and Russ Mayfield. Alongside franchise regulars, such as Annie Suwan and David Toborowsky and Loren and Alexei Brovarnik, the Pillow Talk favorites also came back. However, Reddit fans have rightfully called out the 90 Day Fiancé show for being a little too seasoned with sex talk for a couples’ cooking show.

While Pillow Talk has its perks with the show’s couples providing rib-tickling commentary over the usual 90 Day Fiancé jib-jab, 90 Day: Foody Call promised to serve sizzling recipes on the side. However, the sizzling, in this case, is being offered in heaps via the double entendres, with David and Annie even preparing a soup called “fuk.” Foody Call, which did start on a high flame, is surprisingly lukewarm.

One fan posted on Reddit about 90 Day Fiancé possibly jumping the shark as far as TMI goes with 90 Day: Foody Call. “I think they’ve crossed the line with what they talk about,” wrote the fan, before adding that they do love all of the shows and spin-offs. But they also asked fellow fans what they thought of this show, and their question was answered with some interesting replies. “The sex talk is overkill, no one cares or wants to hear all of that,” said one 90 Day Fiancé viewer. Another fan’s comment read, “totally agree – it’s too crass and vulgar.”

Someone commented how the franchise “jumped the shark years ago,” and a reply to it joked, “at this point, they’re humping the shark.” A different commentator admitted that while they do love Annie and David, they couldn’t get through episode 3 as everything was “way too much.” There was a sex-related question seemingly every five seconds, which ticked another fan off, who pointed out the “creepy laugh/giggle” that shows up on the screen before the producers prod the cast.

Immediately after the premiere of the much-hyped 90 Day: Foody Call, Reddit fans conducted a poll to see what others thought of it. A whopping 78% had revealed they don’t plan on watching the show, while a minuscule 15% shared that they planned to watch. With Discovery+ coming in, fans have been bombarded with 90 Day Fiancé shows, using the same old couples. A similar complaint came in about the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 cast, with some fans saying they’d much rather watch forgotten couples from the past.
