IO Interactive plans to deploy the third DLC in Hitman 3's Seven Deadly Sins collection on June 15; the content will introduce a new Escalation contract, suits, and weapons. The Seven Deadly Sins-themed DLC constitutes one of the many ways in which IO Interactive continues to support the Hitman franchise's wildly successful recent entry.
Act one of the collection, Greed, launched in late March, inviting players to lose themselves in The Greed Enumeration, a three-stage Escalation mission set in Dubai. Those who indulged in the Greed-centric act received permanent unlocks including the Devil's Cane and the Rapacious Suit. In May, IO Interactive rolled out the Pride segment of the Seven Deadly Sins collection, which gave way to the Pride Profusion Escalation and rewards such as a fancy sword and sniper rifle. Now the Season of Sloth lingers around the corner.
Hitman 3's newest Seven Deadly Sins content goes live tomorrow, June 15, in the form of Sloth. The latest installment introduces the Dartmoor-set Sloth Depletion Escalation, IO Interactive revealed. Meanwhile, players can expect to receive the Lotophage Suit, Slapdash SMG, and the Goldbrick Proximity Mine and permanent rewards. Get a glimpse at a more slovenly Agent 47 in the following Season of Sloth announcement trailer.
The outfit reward, the Lotophage Suit, specifically depicts the worldly assassin in rare form. Agent 47 appears unusually tidy, unkempt with his shirt untucked and tie only half done. Hitman 3 players interested in trying this new batch of content for themselves can either purchase the third act for $4.99 or grab the full Seven Deadly Sins collection at the price of $29.99.
IO Interactive hasn't outlined specific dates for the other four acts, but Seven Deadly Sins release schedule, thus far, indicates the collection will wrap up this fall during the month of October. And, according to the trailer above, the sin of Lust will go live next. Gluttony should follow after that, with Wrath and Envy rounding out the sin-filled Hitman 3 offerings. At the time of writing, it remains to be seen whether IO Interactive will continue to support the title with new updates once Seven Deadly Sins comes to a close.
Hitman 3 is available to play now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
