Regice is one of the legendary Pokemon appearing in raid battles in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players the best possible raid counters for taking it down. All three Regi Pokemon are currently active in raid battles for the first half of the month. Not only that, but all of them do have their Shiny forms present in the game, meaning that if the player is lucky enough, they have the chance to encounter a Shiny golem legendary. These Pokemon will be replaced with a brand new legendary Pokemon starting on June 17th, leaving players a bit of time to capture them all. This guide will show players the best possible Pokemon to bring along for a Regice raid battle.
Regice originally came from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, the third generation titles of the series. These Pokemon were hidden deep within the caves of Hoenn and players needed to solve puzzles using braille in order to encounter them. They did make a return in the Pokemon Sword and Shield expansion pass with the release of Regileki and Regidraco. Players were able to solve puzzles in the Crown Tundra to find each Regi. These were required to find the new legendary Pokemon in the area. Now, they return to raid battles in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players the best raid counters against Regice.
Before jumping into battle, make sure to have a group of at least 5 other players present in the game. With this, players will have a much easier time taking it down. Anything less will make this battle take much longer. Here are the best Pokemon to bring along against Regice.
- Reshiram: Fire Fang and Overheat
- Metagross: Bullet Punch and Meteor Mash
- Moltres: Fire Spin and Overheat
- Chandelure: Fire Spin and Overheat
- Entei: Fire Spin and Overheat
- Heatran: Fire Spin and Flamethrower
If players don't have any of these Pokemon, players can bring along a Pokemon with Rock, Fighting, Fire, and Steel-type moves to do the most damage. As mentioned, there is strength in numbers so try and play with a large party. Regice will be having its own dedicated raid hour on June 16th so this is your chance to capture it. All three of the Regi Pokemon will be removed from raid battles to be replaced by a brand-new legendary Pokemon. It's unknown what this Pokemon will be but it's likely Regigigas to match the theme of the other Pokemon of the month. Only time will tell.
Pokemon Go is available now on iOS and Android.
