After a difficult relationship with Brittany Banks on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Yazan Abu Hurira has recently gotten married to a new woman, and in many ways, he’s much better off. There’s no denying that Yazan and Brittany’s relationship was a dumpster fire, and many fans think Brittany enjoyed hurting Yazan. Although not all viewers side with Yazan, it’s still better for him and Brittany to move on to relationships that aren’t so toxic.
Originally on The Other Way, the plan was for Brittany to move to Jordan to live with her love Yazan in his home country. But things didn’t pan out the way the couple intended. It didn’t take long before the culture shock began to wear on both Brittany and Yazan, and even his parents were horrified by their son’s relationship. Brittany and Yazan’s relationship eventually imploded and the couple broke up. Yazan recently got married to a woman named Leena, and Brittany recently appeared on the franchise spin-off 90 Day: The Single Life.
From the minute she touched down in Jordan, it was clear Brittany was not well-informed about Yazan’s culture. He was furious when she publicly hugged one of the male production members and pulled a bottle of tequila out of her bag. Both are big no-no’s in Jordan, which is the complete opposite of how Brittany lived her life in America. Brittany is used to shopping sprees and partying, which was not what Yazan (or his family) wanted from his life. It’s not a question of whose culture is right or wrong, but rather a major incompatibility for the couple.
Both Yazan and Brittany’s parents weren’t on board with their relationship, and Yazan’s father went so far as to throw him out of the house. Overall though, Brittany and Yazan wanted different things out of a relationship and life in general, so Yazan was always going to be better off with someone he has more in common with. Based on the controversial way Brittany acted on The Single Life, it seems like she doesn’t yet know what she wants, and Yazan reportedly mostly liked Brittany for her body.
Just about every fan can agree that Yazan and Brittany’s relationship on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way was a total train wreck and both of them are better off without the other. Whether you’re Team Brittany, Team Yazan, or Team Neither, both of the franchise stars are sure to find more compatibility and happiness with other people. Yazan is now happily married, and Brittany reportedly has a new boyfriend as well. They both seem to be doing much better than they were when they were together.
