90 Day Fiancé star Darcey Silva returned to TLC with a new season of Darcey & Stacey and a ring on her finger, but fans feel Georgi Rusev is not interested in being her man. Season 2 of the Silva sisters’ spin-off is grabbing eyeballs for Darcey and Stacey’s missing hairlines and unrecognizable faces after plastic surgery. However, an important aspect of it is also fans wondering how long Darcey and her Bulgarian beau, Georgi, will last together. Episode 1 already teased Georgi leaving Darcey 48 hours after their engagement, and Stacey doubting him for hiding money in a secret sock, after all.
Despite being at her lowest due to her back-to-back break-ups with 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days boyfriends Jesse Meester and Tom Brooks, Darcey bounced right back when she said yes to her Bulgarian man. A professional masseuse and former model, Georgi caught Darcey’s fancy due to his DMs and rose oil massage. Within a few months, the couple was quarantining together and getting engaged on a yacht. Season 2 of Darcey & Stacey previewed choppy waters ahead, but Darcey and Georgi managed to come back together with his divorce finalized, only for Stacey to call him “entitled” and wondering if he was using her 90 Day Fiancé twin.
“I feel like he’s in this for himself,” claimed Stacey after she told the cameras that she’s finally seen Georgi’s true colors. While Dracey defended herself playing “Santa Claus” for Georgi, the twins’ best friends also seemed shocked at all of his red flags. Darcey’s bestie wanted to know if Georgi had fallen in love with her or her money. A Reddit user suggested that the least he could do was pretend to be interested in the 90 Day Fiancé star. The fan observed that “everyone” on the show is “so cringe” and wondered if they would even be able to watch the entire second season of Darcey & Stacey.
According to the TLC viewer, the episode, which in itself was about 45 minutes long, was “90% commercials” followed by recaps and previews of what was to come after the ad break to further irritate fans. In the comments, another 90 Day Fiancé watcher commented that the first episode “was just painful,” and someone else added that even Darcey’s parents “look at them like WTF,” perhaps not believing that she and Georgi are still together. With Georgi revealing that he’s now divorced, Darcey seemed overjoyed at the thought of finally getting to marry him. However, it appears that season 2 will be getting worse and perhaps worth a watch, with some shady truths about Georgi coming to the surface.
Alongside Darcey and Stacey flying to Turkey for her twinsformation, the Darcey & Stacey season 2 trailer also teased them meeting with Georgi’s first wife. The 90 Day Fiancé star claims to be “still trying to process” why Georgi had the $1,400 hidden in his underwear drawer. But Georgi also talking to Jesse in upcoming episodes might suggest that he may have always been “sinister” from the start.
