A close friend of Tracie Wagaman has confirmed that the Love After Lockup star has unfortunately passed away. Her death came just one week after Tracie gave birth to her second child. She was awaiting her boyfriend's prison release and told her former manager that she was sober during their last conversation. While the details surrounding her passing remain unclear, her friend is sharing how well she was doing before her death.
Tracie shared her journey to sobriety during her time on Love After Lockup and the hit spin-off Life After Lockup. Her tumultuous relationship with Clint Brady was plagued by Tracie's drug addiction. The two met while she was serving out time in prison and fell in love ahead of her release. Once she was out, Clint moved fast in marrying Tracie and serenading her with money and gifts. But Tracie almost didn't make it to the ceremony due to her opting to go out and party the night before. Shortly after their nuptials, Clint was left heartbroken after Tracie stole his credit cards and car before dashing out of his life. After a number of makeups, breakups, and Tracie going in and out of jail, they called it quits for good.
The reality star went on to share how much she misses having Red in her life before sharing how well she was doing. "I really do miss u as a friend," the Love After Lockup star said. "I actually live in an apartment rn. It's nice. I will be doing a live IG tonight. I would still like to keep GOSSIP W THE GODDESS open of that's even possible." After informing her friend that she was finally divorced, Red asked Tracie if she wanted to talk. "That's the first thing you have said that sounded like a friend," Red told Tracie. At which the TV star revealed it was "because I'm sober. Lol." However, last week, Red confirmed that Tracie, unfortunately, passed away shortly after their last text message exchange.
She also decided to keep the message vague and left out the cause of death. "I just wanted to confirm — I have some sad news about Tracie," Red said. "Unfortunately, Tracie passed away on July 1." She continued: "I’m a little shocked. I think everyone is. I’m not going to release more details at this time. I just hope that we are praying for her family." Red ended by letting the public how much "Tracie was loved" and how "Tracie brought a lot of people a lot of joy and she will be remembered.” She was able to share the reality that many people face when battling addiction. The show captured Tracie's unfiltered struggle to remain sober and overcome the challenges within herself. While she often left Clint in tears over her life choices, he still referred to her as his "Goddess." Tracie's passing comes shortly after she gave birth to a baby girl. Tracie was already a mother to her four-year-old son. She had announced her pregnancy back in May. She was reportedly awaiting her boyfriend Luke Loera's release from prison. The Love After Lockup star is survived by her two children.
