Camille Grammer has been on and off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since the series premiered in 2010. At the time, Camille was married to Kelsey Grammer, with whom she shared two children. Throughout the first season, viewers saw the ups and downs in their relationship, but no one would have guessed a divorce was in their future. Kelsey filed for divorce in 2011, and later that year, Kelsey married his current wife, Kayte Walsh.
After two seasons of appearing on RHOBH, Camille Grammer exited the show as a full-time cast member. On the other hand, she has appeared in the series almost every year as a guest or a "friend" since leaving the show. Since the start of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the fans have seen Camille go through a number of ups and downs in her life. Whether it was her divorce, cancer diagnosis, or Malibu home burning down in the 2018 wildfire, the audience has seen it all. Nonetheless, Camille hasn't appeared on the series in over a year, and fans are curious as to what the former housewife has been up to.
Even though she left the franchise for good last year, Camille Grammer still manages to get herself in the middle of the RHOBH drama. Last week, the 52-year-old took to Twitter (as seen below) to give her thoughts on whether or not she believes Erika Jayne was sincere when talking to Kyle Richards about Tom's embezzlement case. After a fan replied to Camille, "I wish you were there to yell 'Shut it down!!' every time Erika started to cry," she wrote back, "We filmed in the Bahamas season 9 and we were all swimming in the water. I don’t remember seeing EJ’s mascara run after swimming underwater. Just saying." While Camille doesn't think Erika knew about Tom's indiscretions, she believes the 50-year-old used cheap mascara to garner sympathy from the audience.
Fellow Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate Lisa Rinna saw the shade that was thrown at her close friend and called Camille an "a**h*le." Other than sticking her nose in drama, Camille has been enjoying a much-needed vacation in Hawaii. In the past, the former reality star has spoken about her love for the island and how she goes there multiple times a year with her family. On Instagram, Camille recently shared a number of snaps of herself, her husband David Meyer, and gorgeous views of the island. After a lot of ups and downs over the past few years, Camille is in need of a recharge in Hawaii. The former dancer left RHOBH after two seasons, as she didn't want to expose her personal life on reality TV anymore (via E! News). Instead, Camille wanted to focus on her children and her family.
Since leaving the show, Camille still manages to find her way into the RHOBH drama. After all, she is still talking about the show in 2021, even though she has not appeared in an episode since 2020. Camille clearly misses being a part of the series and is doing whatever she can to attach herself to the current season. However, it doesn't seem likely she will return for season 12.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesday at 8 pm ET on Bravo.
