Sister Wives: Why Coyote Pass Will Be The Brown Family's Waterloo

Fans of Sister Wives are wondering if the Brown family will ever break ground on the land they call Coyote Pass. Some are fearing that Coyote Pass will be the Brown family's very own Waterloo. And no, we're not talking about the catchy ABBA song, we're talking about Napoleon's Achilles heel.

The large polygamous family has had a hard couple of years, with some viewers thinking that all four wives should leave Kody. Turmoil struck again after Kody decided to uproot his family in a big move from Las Vegas, Nevada to Flagstaff, Arizona. While in Sin City, the family had four houses right next to each other, all in the same cul-de-sac. This made it easy for Kody Brown to spend equal time with his four wives and children. After making a move to Arizona, the family drifted farther apart, as each wife lives miles from the others. Some rent their houses and others bought homes. The COVID-19 pandemic threw a wrench in any plans, and the Brown family has yet to decide what to do with the Coyote Pass land that was purchased back in 2018.

Kody made it known that he wanted one giant house, but all four wives quickly shot down that idea as they have been enjoying their freedom. The family's internal issues are starting to echo the French military leader Napoleon Bonaparte's devastating defeat at Waterloo. Back in June of 1815, Napoleon had conquered much of Europe, but he let his power go to his head. At times, Kody acts like the one true leader of his family, even when his wives don't agree with his strategic decisions. Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, Meri Brown, and Robyn Brown were all a part of the land purchase. However, no one has broken ground yet. With $820,000 spent on Coyote Pass, fans think that buying the land may have been a huge tactical blunder on the patriarch's part.

The land has pushed the family farther apart instead of closer together, defeating the purpose of their family unit. To this day, the project is still very much in development. Like Napoleon, Kody may soon suffer a high casualty rate, metaphorically speaking. His relationships are all hanging by a thread, with some questioning if his first wife Meri is ready to walk away altogether. Kody is a part-owner of each parcel of land, and there are four parcels. However, he just can't figure out his end game, and his final move may get the better of him.

Since Sister Wives season 14 ended, most of the Browns have stayed under the radar. Christine Brown went on a road trip with her kids, notably not including Kody. Janelle Brown has bought a luxury RV and is currently parking it on their land. Meri has given herself a makeover and is enjoying posting cryptic messages on social media. As for the leader of the pack. Kody is thought to still be with his only ally, Robyn. The head of the household better figure out his plan soon, or he could very well have a coup on his hands.
