Pin Points are valuable for becoming stronger in NEO: The World Ends With You. With the original releasing back on the Nintendo DS, players were introduced to the Reapers Game. Each day, players are tasked with completing new missions through their phones. Failure to complete these missions, within the set criteria, will result in erasure. Now, NEO: The World Ends With You brings back the Reapers Game with a new set of challenges. The goal still remains the same, survive each day and gather stronger Pins. In order to do this, players will need to collect Pin Points. This guide will show players how they can farm for Pin Points in the most effective manner.
Pin Points are essentially experience points for the player's pins. With over 300 pins to collect, players will cycle them out as often as possible. Players can earn more Pins by completing missions in the game, or getting them from defeated Noise. Pin Points allow the pins to become stronger, and unlock new abilities. This guide will show players the best way to unlock Pin Points to level up those Pins.
The best way to get Pin Points is by completing Chain Battles. In NEO: The World Ends With You, players are able to scan the area for Noise. By selecting multiple Noise to battle in the overworld, new rounds will automatically begin after completing the previous one. Players will want to score highly during these battles in order to earn the highest ranking, thus, collecting the most Pin Points. At the end of every battle, the player will receive a ranking. The star symbol ranking is the best possible ranking the player can get and it will multiply the total Pin Points by 1.5.
The best way to go about doing this is by defeating enemies as fast as possible, while also taking the least amount of damage. Players should check if their Pins are already maxed out. Players can't earn any more Pin Points for Pins that are already fully leveled up. The game recommended players cycle out their Pins often to experience every Pin available. With over 300 Pins to collect, the player will have their work cut out for them if they wish to max them all out.
NEO: The World Ends With You is available now on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
