The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has a large quantity of secrets of uncover, and the tenth Skyrim dragon mask is perhaps one of the most tantalizing. With a seemingly infinite number of quests to undertake in the game, there's certainly no shortage of things to do, but one quest is particularly grand: the search for dragon priest masks scattered throughout Skyrim's continent. On the surface, it seems there are only eight to collect, but dedicated and attentive players will find there are actually ten.
The dragon masks are pieces of headgear players can wear, usually in heavy or light armor classes and bearing enchantments that range from magicka and lockpicking buffs to discounts at local merchant shops. The first eight masks are acquired in a very straightforward - if not easy - manner: Players must locate the undead Dragon Priests scattered throughout Skyrim, powerful remnants from an age when dragons ruled the land. Upon defeating them, players can take their masks for their own. The ninth mask is then acquired while simply exploring the dungeon known as Labyrinthian.
The tenth Skyrim dragon mask, Konahrik, is unique from its predecessors in design and power. Two tusks jut out from below the cheekbones, and its hood is black with gold trim. While wearing it, players with low health have a chance at the mask healing them while dealing damage to enemies. There is also a possibility players with low health will get the dragon mask to summon a spectral dragon priest ally, which can use ice spike and reanimate corpse on enemies. While these perks are exciting, Konahrik can only be earned after all other masks have been acquired.
Once players have slain all eight of Skyrim's dragon priests and have the masks, players must make their way to Labyrinthian, an ancient Nordic ruin to the southeast of Morthal. They should then proceed to the east entrance, and underneath the central barrow is the ninth dragon priest mask, the Wooden Mask. This barrow is called the Bromjunaar Sanctuary, and the wooden mask can be found there next to some skeletal remains. It and the wooden mask are the keys to unlocking Konahrik.
In order to acquire Konahrik, players must put on the wooden mask while in the Bromjunaar Sanctuary. Upon doing so, the player will be transported back in Skyrim's timeline, to before the ruination of the Bromjunaar Sanctuary. They will find a shrine with the busts of all eight dragon priests, and must place the eight masks on their respective priest. Once that is done, Konahrik will appear, and players can go about their quests in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim with a powerful new headpiece.
