10 Shows To Watch Between Seasons Of American Horror Story

Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story is a horror anthology series that premiered in 2011. So far, there are 11 seasons of the series and it has been renewed for at least two  more, so we're pretty excited that we have more spooky seasons to enjoy and theorize about. The best part of the show being an anthology series is that viewers can pick and choose the seasons that interest them or watch all of them in whatever order they want. Although there may be connections between each season, they each have their own unique plot and storyline.

7 American Crime Story

The first season follows O.J. Simpson's trial when he was accused of taking the life of his wife ,and the second season follows the life and murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace. A third season, titled Impeachment, about the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, is set to begin airing in September 2020.

6 Slasher

Slasher is an anthology horror series that began airing on Netflix in 2017. The first season aired on TV in Canada before the streaming service bought the rights and began producing their own episodes. To date, there are three seasons, each of which follows a single terrifying villain and their victims.

5 The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a Netflix original series that is a darker, creepier version of the Sabrina the Teenage Witch series and is based on the Archie comics series by the same name. It was originally planned to be a spin-off of The CW's teen drama Riverdale, but the original plans for it changed.

The series stars Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina Spellman, a young half-mortal, half-witch who is struggling to try to balance both sides of herself. On one hand, she's a normal teenage girl who just wants to live a regular life. But on the other hand, she's also got magical powers, and the forces of evil are after her in a totally terrifying way.

The series follows two FBI special agents who are in charge of a special selection of cases referred to as "X-Files" because they seem to be supernatural or paranormal in nature. Mulder is the agent that has been heading the "X-Files" department while Scully is assigned to the cases to go with him and try to find rational, scientific explanations for the things her partner investigates.

3 Channel Zero

Channel Zero is a horror anthology series that began airing on Syfy in 2016. Four seasons aired before the series was cancelled, but the producers have reportedly discussed the possibility of producing future episodes. Each season is based on short horror stories that have become popular on the Internet known as "creepypastas," beginning with the first season, Candle Cove.

While American Horror Story often puts some humor into the horror, Channel Zero is definitely more of a straight-up terrifying experience. Still, the show is entertaining and definitely worth checking out for serious fans of horror shows.

Twin Peaks premiered in 1990 and has become a major cult classic in the decades since it began airing.
