We’ve got another season of The Movies That Made Us coming our way! Netflix has renewed the series for a second season! If you haven’t watched the first season yet, you’re missing out on some great entertainment, and fascinating behind-the-scenes details regarding some of our favorite films from the 80s and early 90s.
Season 1 focused on films such as Die Hard, Ghostbusters, Dirty Dancing, and Home Alone. Each episode was packed full of information that I never knew about these movies before!
The series comes from The Toys That Made Us creator Brian Volk-Weiss, who said that they were looking to shape each episode’s tone around each movie that they spotlighted.
Netflix and The Nacelle Company want to thank you for being a friend of The Movies That Made Us/ The Toys That Made Us and for covering the shows in the past. We’re reaching out today to share the exciting news that our docuseries, The Movies That Made Us has been green lit for a second season! We’ve announced on our social media and wanted to share the good news with you!
There is no premiere date yet set for The Movies That Made Us season 2, but I’ll be looking forward to watching it! It’ll be interesting to see what films they cover in Season 2. What are some movies you’d like to see them focus on? For me… The Goonies, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Back To The Future, E.T., Top Gun, Stand By Me, The Terminator… there are so many!
