Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder and her new husband, Beau Clark, got candid about exactly when they conceived their baby girl. Apparently, Clark's mom knew exactly when it happened.
Schroeder and Clark began dating in 2018 and the former casting executive popped the question to the Straight Up With Stassi podcast host in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in the summer of 2019. Clark and Schroeder planned to wed in an Italian destination wedding this fall, but were forced to put their plans on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. While they still intend to have their Italian dream wedding next year, the pair officially tied the knot in a secret backyard ceremony this September.
While speaking to Us Weekly, Schroeder and Clark confessed that, while they weren't intentionally trying for a baby during quarantine, they were being "reckless" and conceived their baby on Easter. "We weren’t planning for it, obviously. We just weren’t being careful like we normally were," Clark shared. He then revealed that the day after Easter, his mom messaged him that she had had a dream in which "a Native American was calling [her] maw maw." When 32-year-old Schroeder then missed her period and confirmed she was expecting with pregnancy tests, 40-year-old Clark was "shook" to learn that he was going to be a dad.
Schroeder and Clark announced in June of this year that they were expecting a baby girl due in early 2021. Schroeder was the first Vanderpump Rules cast member to announce she was pregnant, followed closely by Lala Kent, who revealed this summer that she and her fiancé Randall Emmett are also expecting. Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor revealed in September that they were soon-to-be-parents of a baby boy. Most recently, Scheana Shay announced she and her boyfriend Brock Davies are expecting a baby due in April 2021 after suffering a miscarriage earlier this year.
According to Jax Taylor, Vanderpump Rules was supposed to begin filming this October after being forced to go on hiatus due to the pandemic. However, filming has not begun yet and plans for season nine of the hit Bravo show are still unclear. While Schroeder was fired from Vanderpump Rules after reports resurfaced that she called the cops on her Black castmate, some fans have been hoping to see a spinoff featuring the parents-to-be from the original cast, including Cartwright and Taylor, Shay and Davies, Kent and Emmett, and Schroeder and Clark.
