Big Ed Brown is flying high as he prepares to return to 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. The alum recently celebrated his return to reality television by going to Las Vegas. However, after he shared a video of himself hanging out without wearing a mask to his social media, fans were quick to call him out for making a poor decision amid the pandemic.
While 90 Day fans are excited for the new shows, which bring fresh content to screens, many aren't looking forward to watching Big Ed again. He is set to appear on 90 Day Journey, a new show on Discovery+, which serves as a hub for curated 90 Day content. The show follows the most popular couples and their love stories. Instead of fast-forwarding to their favorite scenes, fans will be able to follow a 90 Day Fiancé couple's journey from start to finish, all in one place. Former or current couples being featured on the new show are Big Ed and Rosemarie Vega, Colt Johnson and Larissa Dos Santos Lima, Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou, and 27 other pairs. Big Ed received a lot of backlash during his time on the show, due to his poor treatment of Rose. He often criticized her looks and lifestyle, in addition to asking her to get an STD test, even though he wouldn't take one himself.
Most recently, the controversial reality star took to Instagram to share a 4-minute video of himself hanging out at a bar in Las Vegas. "In Vegas," he captioned the video, which showed him around some people who didn't recognize him. "Why don't you know who I am," he asked a guy at the bar. When he showed the guy his "live" (and just how many people were watching), the guy asked why so many people were tuned in. "Because I'm famous," Big Ed replied. "Why are you famous?" the man kept asking. Ed was more interested in talking to his girlfriend. "Tell your boyfriend who I am," Ed demanded. He finally admitted to being on 90 Day Fiancé. "Everyone made fun of me," he told the guy. While the video appeared to be all in good fun, many of his followers called him out for the lack of social distancing. "wEaR yUr MaSkS!!!!! 🥴," said one follower, while another added, "no mask whatsoever." A fan said, "pandemic," while another said, "Thought we were in the middle of a pandemic 🤷♀️." Meanwhile, someone called out Ed for coming off so boastful in front of the bar crowd. "Think the fame is getting to your head fella," said the follower.
Of course, Ed is no stranger to shady comments from TLC fans. He's been getting them since he first appeared on television. Quite often, he showed his true colors onscreen, and fans have always taken to social media to call him out for his controversial behavior.
While he continues to rake in money from his TV appearances and endorsement deals, it's clear he's unbothered by the criticism from his followers. More shade will inevitably come his way if the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days alum returns to television.
