RuPaul's Drag Race UK season 2 star Bimini Bon Boulash has disclosed that they are nonbinary. The fans fell in love with the entire cast of Drag Race UK when season 2 premiered last week. British fans are watching the show on the BBC, while viewers from around the world are tuning into the series through the WOW Presents Plus streaming service. From the start, it has become clear that all of these season 2 queens are fantastic, and that each elimination will likely feel gut-wrenching. On week one, the Bottom 2 consisted of Bimini Bon Boulash and Joe Black.
After a fabulous lip sync to the tune of "Relax" by Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Joe Black was sent home, becoming the first eliminated queen from Drag Race UK season 2. This was good news for Bimini Bon Boulash, but it also meant that they had to prove themselves in the second episode. Thankfully, Bimini did just that, serving a lot of personality in the "Rats: The Rusical" maxi challenge and strutting down the runway in a stunning look inspired by none other than Alexander McQueen. At this point, Bimini is officially on a new journey on Drag Race UK, and things are looking up for the queen.
Now, Bimini Bon Boulash is sharing a few new details behind her latest look on RuPaul's Drag Race UK. As seen on the show, the look was meant to have a reveal where balloons would pop paint and add some color onto Bimini's corset, which was representing a canvas. The colors that were going to splash onto the corset were blue and pink, symbolizing the trans flag. On Twitter, Bimini explained the concept behind the look and also took the time to disclose that they are nonbinary. Bimini also shared they/them pronouns, which can be found on their Twitter bio.
The Drag Race UK fans are all-in on Bimini Bon Boulash, particularly after this latest showing on "Rats: The Rusical" and on the runway. With that said, it's still way too early to know how far this queen will get on the season. Still, a lot of fans will surely be rooting for Bimini to go farther all season long.
This season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK is only getting started, but it will surely go down in history. God save these queens!
RuPaul's Drag Race UK season 2 airs Thursdays at 2pm EST on WOW Presents Plus in the US and select territories worldwide, day-and-date with its airing on BBC iPlayer in the UK.
