Big Brother alum Nicole Franzel shared yet another pregnancy update as she nears the arrival of her baby; however, this update included some issues she has been dealing with within her pregnancy but has kept private. In the short video shared to Instagram, Nicole revealed that her baby is breeched which means there is a possibility she will need to have a c-section delivery rather than a natural birth. She also admitted that both she and the baby are very uncomfortable.
Nicole and her fellow Big Brother alum husband Victor Arroyo announced they were expecting their first child together at the beginning of this year. The couple was in the midst of planning their wedding which had already been rescheduled numerous times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since announcing her pregnancy, Nicole has been updating fans with an Instagram TV series she titled "Pregnancy Diaries." During the early days of her pregnancy, Nicole revealed she got pregnant the night she left the Big Brother house.
Nicole posted the most recent episode of her "Pregnancy Diaries" late Wednesday. In the nearly five-minute video, Nicole revealed some issues she has been dealing with privately within her pregnancy. She started the video by explaining that she is currently 35 weeks pregnant; however, she is "feeling like [I'm] forty something weeks." As she nears the last few weeks of her pregnancy, Nicole has become very uncomfortable. Because Nicole is barely 5'2" tall and has a short torso, she has "nowhere really for this baby to go" as her bump continues to grow. Despite this, she did admit that the baby has been moving around a lot, which is in fact a good thing.
At around 31 weeks, Nicole went in for an ultrasound to see the baby for the first time since she was 19 weeks pregnant. During the appointment, the doctor discovered that Nicole had "low amniotic fluid" which ultimately limited the baby from having space to move around. At the time of the same ultrasound, the doctor also learned that the baby was breached. Nicole was worried at first as this was not only something she was not expecting but Victor was not with her due to his busy work schedule. Since learning this information, Nicole has taken the time to do some research while also digesting it all.
Since her last checkup, Nicole has been seeing a chiropractor to assist in trying to flip the baby; however, the doctors believe Nicole's pelvic is shaped like an oval rather than a circle which ultimately makes it uncomfortable for the baby to be in the proper position for delivery. Nicole has also been making a conscious effort to drink more water to help bring her amniotic fluids back up, which has in fact been successful. Despite all of this, the Big Brother alum admitted that she is trying to stay positive while also accepting the fact she may ultimately need to have a C-section delivery. Nicole is due to have her baby sometime in July.
Big Brother returns on Wednesday July 7 at 8pm EST on CBS.
