Storage Wars was a staggering success for A&E over the course of the last decade, as the reality television series ran for 12 seasons and 269 episodes from December 1, 2010 to January 30, 2019 and acquired fans all around the world throughout its initial airing. Though Storage Wars went on a break following season 12, it ultimately made a comeback in spring 2021, and for its most passionate viewers, it's as if the show picked up right where it left off.
Over the course of Storage Wars' run, its core stars have traveled all around the country and taken home countless treasures from the storage units they search through, but not every episode about their exploits is viewed the same by the show's supporters. Thankfully, IMDb has kept track of the ratings for every episode across all thirteen seasons so far, with ten standing taller than the rest.
10 "Ivy Gets The Runaround" - 7.4
"Ivy Gets the Runaround" sees the Storage Wars gang take a trip to Stanton, California, but the group comes up a bit short when trying to find any artifacts worth their while. Dave Hester, "The Mogul" himself, finds that making a profit can be like pulling teeth, while buyers Mary Padian and Ivy Calvin grind to get by as well after encountering similar setbacks.
While it's fun to see the Storage Wars buyers succeed, sometimes it's even more entertaining to see them struggle and strain to overcome the odds, which is a spectacle that "Ivy Gets the Runaround" afforded viewers, earning a 7.4 rating on IMDb.
9 "Fa-La-La-Lala, La-La-La Locker!" - 7.4
"Fa-La-La-Lala, La-La-La-Locker!" is the first of two Storage Wars Christmas episodes to receive such high ratings from fans, and it's not hard to see why. When in Riverside, California, the gang comes up against all sorts of crazy sights, with Dave in particular eyeing an unusually messy unit.
Meanwhile, Shana Dahan and Edwina Registre aim to bring their "Golden Girls Chic" to the sale but ultimately phone their presentation in, while Rene Nezhoda can't buy, so he takes a shot at selling instead. Set against the backdrop of the holiday season, "Fa-La-La-Lala, La-La-La-Locker!" earned a 7.4 rating on IMDb from festive fans.
8 "Grandma's Havoc" - 7.5
In "Grandma's Havoc," Ivy surprisingly decides to take it easy at a sale in Victorville, California, letting his son Ivy Jr. run the operation, while buyer Kenny Crossley lands a locker with a pleasant surprise waiting for him.
At the same time, Mary, Shana, and Edwina encounter struggle after struggle at the sale, so they decide to put their heads together and come up with a last-ditch effort to turn a profit. The chaos of this episode was quite compelling for viewers, who gave it a 7.5 rating on IMDb.
7 "Whiskers And Lies" - 7.5
"Whiskers and Lies" finds the Storage Wars squad in Hawaiian Gardens, where Darrell Sheets breaks in a new person, and Brandi and Jarrod come across a mysterious object in their unit that may or may not prove profitable.
Buyer Justin Bryant gets in on the action as well, working his way through a decent locker of his own in the hopes of securing something special. Audiences were quite fond of the various adventures in this episode, giving it a 7.5 rating on IMDb.
6 "The Return Of The Mogul's Return!" - 7.6
"The Return of The Mogul's Return" was a Storage Wars episode rife with drama, and audiences ate it up. While Ivy and Darrell excel at an auction in Montclair, California, Brandi and Jarrod don't do near as well, with Jarrod's hangover getting in the way of their buying.
Meanwhile, despite his fight with Laura, Dave can't stay away from a sale, and his combative spirit starts to show as he takes on his competition. Easily one of the most entertaining episodes in the series so far, "The Return of Mogul's Return" earned a 7.6 rating on IMDb.
5 "A Very Miraculous Storage Wars Christmas" - 7.6
Another Christmas episode is held in high esteem by fans, with "A Very Miraculous Storage Wars Christmas" remaining a favorite since its release in 2014. In this special holiday episode, the buyers become givers, heading to Dan and Laura's house for a white elephant gift exchange where chaos expectedly ensues.
Though the proceeds are going to charity, the Storage Wars squad can't help but get competitive, with everyone trying to prove they are "the most merry." Viewers had a ball with all their bickering, giving this episode a 7.6 rating on IMDb.
4 "Assassin's Greed" - 7.8
"Assassin's Greed" showed some of the Storage Wars buyers at their most savvy, navigating potentially problematic scenarios like pros. While Rene steals units in Rancho Palos Verdes, Mary finds herself searching for how to profit off a locker with a sticky past.
Meanwhile, Justin demonstrates his Storage Wars skills in an impressive way, turning a small investment into a big return. Audiences ate up "Assassin's Greed," granting it a strong 7.8 rating on IMDb.
3 "Crate Balls Of Fire" - 7.8
"Crate Balls of Fire" took the Storage Wars crew back to Santa Ana, California, where the buyers faced ten vaults all belonging to the same owner. Not one to let others get ahead, Dave almost instantly snatches up half of them, predictably leading to problems with the other buyers.
At the same time, Ivy works to get ahead with his vault, eventually drawing a nice profit. The competition on "Crate Balls of Fire" was more captivating than usual for an average Storage Wars episode and as such, audiences gave it a solid 7.8 rating on IMDb.
2 "Goat Tell It On The Mountain" - 7.9
In "Goat Tell It on the Mountain," the Storage Wars crew head out to Lake Arrowhead to get away from it all, with Ivy starting an experiment to put the economies of scale to the test. Meanwhile, Justin strikes gold and almost hits the bullseye on a locker he acquires.
Apart from all of the others, Darrell and Chad find fortunes on a farm, perhaps even outpacing the profits accumulated by their co-stars. Fans enjoyed this escape as much as the cast, giving it a 7.9 rating on IMDb.
1 "Bo-ZAK That Whip!" - 8.1
The highest rated episode of Storage Wars so far is 2019's "Bo-ZAK That Whip!," where the gang travels to Orange, California and encounter obstacles at an auction like never before. While Brandi and Jarrod bring in an old friend to help them with their "heavy lifting," Ivy tries to find fun in "the little things" throughout his searches, coming up with a plan from a new perspective
Mary, Shana, and Edwina once again have to make the most of strenuous situations, and by the end of the day, the identity of those who come out on top might surprise viewers. Audiences certainly thought this episode was the most engaging of all, giving it a 8.1 rating on IMDb.
