Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi confirmed that there will in fact be another season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, and the cast has already begun filming for it. Nicole left the show in 2019 following the drama of Angelina Pivarnick's wedding. After a season-long hiatus from the show, Nicole surprised both fans and her fellow roomies with a return to the show.
Initially, it was unclear whether Nicole's return would be permanent; however, with Jersey Shore's Ronnie Ortiz Magro stepping away from filming, many assumed Nicole would make a more permanent return in his place. So far this season, Nicole has appeared in just two episodes. First, she surprised the group for Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's sobriety anniversary party. Then she had a one-on-one lunch with Angelina to work through their past drama.
While fans continue to anxiously await the remaining episodes of the current season involving Nicole, they no longer have to fear that these episodes will be the end of her time on the show. In the most recent episode of Nicole's podcast, It's Happening With Snooki & Joey, Nicole confirmed that there will in fact be another season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. To make it even better, Nicole will continue filming for the show alongside her longtime roomies. Despite the current season still airing new episodes, she and the rest of the cast have already begun filming for the next season.
During the podcast episode, Nicole told her best friend and makeup artist, Joey Camasta, that she was recently at Deena Cortese's house filming for the show. The two moms had one of their infamous "meatball" days at Deena's New Jersey home. She did not specify if they got their kids in on the fun. Nicole did, however, assure Joey and fans that the new season will be drama-free. The new episodes of Jersey Shore Family Vacation will return to the fun vibes the show once had. Unlike the recent seasons of the show, there will be no prolonged drama taking over the premise of season 5. They are also returning to filming during the summer months after changing it up for the current season with a winter trip to the Pocono Mountains.
Nicole's presence on the show will more than likely be similar to that of this season. While she is willing to set days aside for filming, she is no longer willing to leave her family for days at a time to film for the show. Aside from Nicole's recent confirmation of the cast filming, some of the roommates have teased fans of the new season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation by sharing behind the scenes photos of the show's production team inside their homes. Although there will be limited drama, there is no doubt that the show will still be entertaining. Each cast member has a lot going on in their personal lives to keep fans up to date with. It is unknown when the new season is scheduled to air.
