Warning! Spoilers for Way of X #3 by Marvel Comics below.
One of the X-Men's smartest mutants is stealing Wolverine's powers for his own personal use. In Way of X #3, Doctor Nemesis reveals to Nightcrawler he put his coffee in quantum entanglement with Wolverine's liver, which allowed him to stay up and monitor the Omega Level mutants turning Mars into one of their new homes. It's extremely unlikely Wolverine would approve of the scientist's actions.
Originally introduced in 1940s pulp magazines, James Bradley was responsible for co-creating one of Marvel's first heroes, the Human Torch. The character was later revealed to be a mutant, whose incredible intellect allows him to assist the X-Men in their scientific discoveries and breakthroughs on Krakoa. In the current Way of X series, Doctor Nemesis is part of a team with Nightcrawler focused on helping mutant evildoers find a new path on Krakoa. So far, the group has brought Professor X's volatile son Legion back to the island. Now, following the Hellfire Gala, the team figures out its next step.
In Way of X #3 by Si Spurrier, Bob Quinn, Java Tartaglia, and VC's Clayton Cowles, Nightcrawler awakens after the Hellfire Gala plagued by a severe hangover. Feeling squeezy and suffering from a pulsing headache, Doctor Nemesis tells his fellow mutant he can help him with his "laboratory-grade hangover cure." When Nightcrawler meets his teammate, Doctor Nemesis shows off the science behind the powerful drink he brewed, telling the German mutant he put his coffee in quantum entanglement with Wolverine's liver. Nightcrawler doesn't wait for him to finish his sentence before grabbing the coffee and scarfing it down.
Wolverine's liver is bulletproof when it comes to hangovers, as his healing factor prevents him from truly getting drunk - although, Logan likely still gets wasted due to the placebo effect. Doctor Nemesis used quantum entanglement with Wolverine's liver to make a powerful coffee that slows down the effects of being overcaffeinated. It's a brilliant move and exactly what a mad scientist would do with access to the resources and powers Doctor Nemesis has on Krakoa.
Still, Doctor Nemesis should definitely keep it to himself that he's using Wolverine's liver (and powers) for his own personal gain. Given Logan's traumatic history of being unwillingly experimented on in the Weapon X program, it's almost certain he wouldn't react kindly to discovering Doctor Nemesis used his liver as his own personal coffee pot - most likely, without permission. However, Nightcrawler probably doesn't care about the science behind the drink or how it's connected to Wolverine, as the coffee helped cure his nasty hangover. Way of X #3 is in comic book stores now.
