Emotional Baggage is one of the main collectibles in Psychonauts 2. While the original title underperformed when it was first released, it did develop a massive cult following. Since the game went to Kickstarter 6 years ago, it's finally available for all to enjoy. Raz is continuing his adventures to help out a spy organization undergoing some turmoil. Psychonauts 2 picks up directly where the first game ended. It is now up to Raz and his psychic abilities to enter minds and help sort through other people's problems. Each level is filled with colorful and robust platforming, angry enemies, and loads of hidden items to collect.
Emotional Baggage is a physical item for players to find. It's common for each character to have their own version of emotional baggage locked up deep inside of them. In this case, players will need to find the Baggage Tag first before they can use the Emotional Baggage. Once that tag is reconnected with its proper bag, it will unlock. This will also provide Raz with XP that he can use to level up.
Strike City is a region of Ford's mind that contains her bowling clerk identity. There are giant bowling pins everywhere and players need to use bowling balls to knock them down. Players can turn on invincibility mode to make it easier to collect them all, as it can be a pain to properly align the bowling bowl just perfectly with the pins.
There are two Emotional Baggages for players to collect in this area.
- The Suitcase: Players can grab this one after helping the construction workers lower the path using the ball polisher. Ride on the bowling ball through the green slime to find the tag. The actual bag itself is right before entering Lover's Lane. There will be a group of 5 bowling pins that players can knock down to find the Emotional Baggage.
- The Duffelbag: The tag for this bag can be found at the moment when players are crossing the "Joe's" sign. Jump into the "O" to send Raz to a nearby rooftop. There will be enemies so quickly take them out and grab the tag. As for the bag itself, players will need to return back to the start of the level using Collective Unconscious. It's located where the first ball polisher is. It's directly behind the polisher itself.
Since it's so small, the other stages make up for it by hiding them in even more difficult places to reach. Players should focus on leveling up their new powers to unlock access to previously inaccessible locations. It's all about building Raz's new powers. Psychonauts 2 is all about thinking outside of the box.
