Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) shoppers will be greeted with a robust selection of colors to choose from, as this phone offers the most color options of any Samsung phone before it. The Galaxy S20 FE released on October 2 and all colors announced are already available. While there have been various color choices that the South Korean tech giant has dabbled in before, this time there's enough to suit the needs of most buyers.
At $699, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is the most affordable phone in the current Galaxy S20 lineup. It also features a 32-megapixel front camera, 120Hz refresh rate, and 5G support for streaming video and playing games. Along with the added color options, the Galaxy S20 FE provides many incentives for consumers to upgrade with decent improvements across the board. Even though the other S20 models come with more features, the majority of Galaxy S20 FE owners should be pleased with what this phone has to offer.
Samsung offers its own color choices for its recent phones, with "Cloud," "Cosmic," and "Aura" used to describe them. The Galaxy S20 lineup in general comes with many different color options, although the selection is limited compared to the FE. The basic S20 comes in Cosmic Gray, Cloud Pink, Cloud Blue, and a Verizon-exclusive Cloud White. The S20 Plus is available in Cosmic Black, Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue, and a Best Buy-exclusive Aura Blue. A "BTS Purple" version is also available, but currently sold out. The S20 Ultra comes in just Cosmic Black and Cosmic Gray, resulting in less of a choice for "pro" phone owners.
The Galaxy S20 FE comes in six colors: Cloud White, Cloud Red, Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Orange, and Cloud Mint. Those that are looking for either a specific color, or a color featured in a previous phone, may be pleased with one of these options. White and orange, however, are only available online through Samsung's website. One can easily notice that black is not among the available colors, despite being common in other versions of the S20, but considering how popular of a color blue is, navy can be a viable alternative, as can white. Some consumers might have a clear favorite in this selection, but others could use some help in deciding.
Among these six colors, there are both bold and pastel color choices. White and navy tend to be popular colors, as they are both neutral. Neutral colors go great with any nearby color, meaning that the phone will nicely blend in with whatever the user is wearing. Lavender, mint, and orange happen to be colors that can be associated with essential oils, and therefore may offer a more calming and soothing feeling. As for red, it is very appealing to look at and therefore, could be a great option for any Samsung customer looking to stand out.
