Netflix: Every Movie & TV Show Releasing In August 2021

In August 2021, Netflix will welcome the final installment in a rom-com trilogy, an animated movie from the universe of The Witcher, the gender-swapped remake of a rom-com from the late 1990s, a movie following the adventures of the Loud family, and a bunch of licensed content. Although cinemas around the world are now open and studios are finally releasing those movies that had to be delayed, streaming services continue to be the main source of entertainment for many. Netflix always makes sure that its subscribers have something to watch and continues adding new content - licensed and original - every month.

July saw the arrival of the Fear Street trilogy, the final season of Atypical, the animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, season 2 of Biohackers, the movie Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans, and the romantic drama The Last Letter From Your Lover. On the licensed content front, Netflix brought the movies The Karate Kid (along with Part II and Part III), Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Snowpiercer, Midnight Sun, and Django Unchained, along with season 17 of Grey’s Anatomy, all seasons of Sailor Moon Crystal, and season 3 of Charmed. August will welcome movies like Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can, Christopher Nolan’s Inception, the comedy dramas My Girl and My Girl 2, John Hughes’ Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and the drama Like Crazy.
