Cam Holmes and Chase DeMoor are two standout contestants from Too Hot To Handle season 2, and here's why the duo of reality stars are caught in a feud. Cam and pro football player Chase were friendly on the Netflix dating show, but things have gotten hairy for the mates since the end of the show's sophomore season. From rival posts on TikTok to halfhearted apologies, there is a lot to learn about Cam and Chase's feud.
Cam and Chase had two very different journeys on the Netflix reality dating show. Cam and his girlfriend Emily Miller were an instant fit. Fans were very supportive of Cam and Emily's relationship even though they did break many of Lana's rules while on the show. Although Cam and Emily ended up costing Marvin Anthony (the winner of Too Hot To Handle season 2) thousands of dollars, the romance that the reality TV duo formed on the show was a big hit with viewers. Many fans consider Cam and Emily to be the true winners of their season because they are the most prominent Too Hot To Handle couple still together after season 2. On the other hand, Chase had a controversial experience at the villa. Originally paired with Carly Lawrence, fans found Chase unlikable when he abandoned Carly for Tabitha Clifft.
Since the end of Too Hot To Handle season 2, Cam and Emily have enjoyed a generally happy ending. The couple has divulged that they are currently living together in Emily's mother's home while searching for a place of their own. Cam and Emily appear to be happier than ever and on an upward trajectory. Unfortunately, Chase has had the free time (post-Too Hot To Handle) to start a conflict between himself and the fan-favorite pair. Just before the reunion aired, Chase took to his TikTok, where he has 1.8 million followers, to take a dig at Cam and Emily. In one TikTok, the THTH rule breaker Chase wrote, "When you leave the villa as the ‘strongest couple’ but she’s on a plane to come see me… See you in 12 hours." Many fans were confused by Chase's implication that Emily was ditching Cam for Chase.
In response to Chase's TikTok, fans noticed that Cam unfollowed his former Too Hot To Handle castmate on Instagram. On top of unfollowing Chase, Cam made a TikTok of his own in response to the drama. In the video, Cam wrote, "When he told the world that your girl was flying out to see him. Keep dreaming." Although the banter made the quarrel appear lighthearted, Cam went on to explain why Chase's TikTok caused a problem between the former friends. In an interview with Goss.ie, Cam explained that banter is fine but he had an issue "because it was about Em." 24-year-old model Cam Holmes revealed that he doesn't think Chase's video was a big deal, "but it was disrespectful." Cam shared that Chase "kind of apologized," but they are unlikely to be best friends any time soon.
Cam and Chase were never great friends, but their relationship has spiraled out of control since the end of Too Hot To Handle season 2. Although Chase might have meant for his TikTok to be taken as a friendly joke, Cam believed that involving Emily was inappropriate. Regardless of Chase's intentions, his feud with Cam is truly Too Hot To Handle.
